How this checker works
- It only shows rules we read on the city’s own website or code. We don’t estimate or fill in missing deadlines.
- When a city says “promptly” or we couldn’t find an official rule, the checker says so and doesn’t calculate a time.
- “Daylight hours” rules (Ames) depend on sunrise and sunset, so we don’t turn them into a clock time.
- Companies shown are the ones on our town pages whose own websites list snow services there, listed free and alphabetically. A paid spot is always labeled Sponsored.
